Everything Off-Beat
"Everything Off-Beat" is the world's premier ska oriented radio show,
launched in 1988 by DJ Chuck Wren. The show debuted on college station
WNUR, and through the course of the past decade has moved to three
different commercial stations.....most recently WCKG-FM 105.9. Archiving
one of the world's top collections, we're glad to have Chuck present his
critically acclaimed program to the airwaves of WLUW-FM, which will also
the first time "Everything Off-Beat" is heard on the world wide web!
Playing material from all three waves of ska (with an extensive collection
of orignal Jamiacan vinyl), Chuck likes to throw in dashes of soul, mod,
rockabilly, power-pop and punk to the show's already tasty stew. Make
"Eveything Off-Beat" a part of your weekend routine (Sundays from 6pm to
7pm).
